She wanted a companion.
She loved him.
She proposed him.
They god married.
She got a companion, but lost her love.

***

His life sucked.
He had a full time job.
An awful boss.
Meager salary.
Nasty colleagues.
EMIs due.
But a lovely family.

***

I can't marry you.
Because I can't see my children suffer.

***

He was a great son.
A great brother.
He loved his children.
But a pathetic husband.
And a more pathetic father.

***

People were jealous of her happiness.
Naturally, silence was no longer a language.

***

She never said.
He never understood.
She still loves him.
He still cries over his unsuccessful past affairs.

***

A scholar he was!
He could understand several languages.

But how could he understand her love for him?
It was never spoken.

***

Her best friend gifted it to her on her birthday.
She was careful not to break the expensive vase.
He also proposed her the same day.
She denied.

***

Money can't buy you happiness. A lie.
He used to buy one of the most expensive wines.
And he used to forget all his pain.
